Overview

This development programme is aimed at Senior Managers and Leaders and aims to develop team-working across the organisation.

Who is it for?

Senior Managers and Leaders, Heads of Departments.

Key outcomes for the Management team(s) are:

  • Effective leadership, adapting styles to meet the needs of others in the team
  • Communication across the organisation
  • Working together in achieving objectives
  • Working cohesively together as a team
  • Identifying and clarifying their competencies as leaders
  • Promoting employee engagement
  • Acquiring the skills required to lead – particularly those related to leading change and leading people.
  • How to create working strategies by identifying and prioritising the key issues. This also includes how to deal with other issues which are distracting attention or impeding performance.
  • Build relationships. No leader can achieve alone, leaders need to create and maintain the relationships they need in order to deliver.

Programme Content

The following programme is an approach to meeting these objectives and contains a number of options:

One-day Briefing Workshop

This session will provide an opportunity for Managers to define their roles within the organisation and how that role is both influenced and influences other management and leadership roles within the organisation.

Team Management Profile

The Team Management Profile is completed by team members prior to attending the 1-day workshop above.

360-Degree Appraisal

Bespoke questionnaire, using own language created at the 1-day workshop or off the shelf option around effective leadership behavior.

Follow-up Workshop(s)

An opportunity to explore the issues raised through the completion of the TMS Profile and 360 Degree Appraisals. The workshop will involve targeted activities that address these issues and the objectives outlined in ‘key areas’ above.

Coaching

The end result is an individual or team that operates more effectively and confidently and contributes to a stronger bottom line and or the organisation’s aims.
