Dimensions clothingDimensions is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bespoke corporate clothing, offering a financially stable organisation which is steeped in knowledge and expertise on delivering successful clothing programmes for people at work.

The Business Situation

Dimensions Clothing were looking to identify the critical leadership behaviours that need to be demonstrated by Leaders and Managers in the organisation in order to encourage high performing teams and culture as well as developing a Management team that encourages engagement.  There was also a need to identify talent within the organisation and developing and retaining key staff.

The Approach

We delivered a bespoke programme that would assist the senior leadership team to explore, discuss and agree a way forward in terms of identifying critical leadership behaviours that will deliver the growth plan for the business through engaged and high performing teams and also maximise talent at all levels and retain key team members. We facilitated a workshop where Managers defined their roles within the organisation and how that role is both influenced and influences other management and leadership roles within Dimensions Clothing. The workshop was highly participative using a coaching approach with the group to facilitate the agreed specific objectives. The input was around developing a high performance culture, critical leadership behaviours that encourage engagement within the team and enabling change and taking people with you.

The Results

  • Develop the depth of leadership capability in the organisation and have a succession plan in place
  • Specifically develop a change management mind set in leaders that will lead and drive change
  • Empowering leaders to take ownership of their part, to feel confident that they are running their teams effectively through understanding what makes an effective team leader
