Stepping Into Leadership


Often individuals are promoted as they are good workers and find themselves suddenly in charge of those who previously worked alongside them.

This programme provides training and learning sessions that are designed and delivered specifically to develop those that have been identified as having leadership potential in the organisation. Designed to provide the techniques and tactics to establish authority within the supervisory role whilst maintaining good relationships with those you manage, making it easier to clarify expectations and manage performance.

  • Greater understanding of the role of the team leader/supervisor
  • Increase in confidence and skills going into the role
  • Appreciation as to what their role and responsibilities will be
  • Greater knowledge and skills in how to manage others, often their peers.
  • Increased awareness of their own development needs
  • Can be used as part of the organisation’s succession plans to identify potential Team Leaders and Supervisors
  • Communication as to the role and responsibilities of the Team Leader/Supervisor
  • Identify key individuals who are ready to step up
  • Identify further training and development needs of individuals
